When the Yonkers Sharing Community closed its doors in 2019, it left a hole in the heart of the Parish. Many parishioners worked month after month, year after year, to feed the hungry and homeless. We have no way to know how these meals impacted the individuals who sought help there. However, we do know that every person we fed received not only a meal, but the Love that Christ asked us to share.
Today, Immaculate Conception Church is working to fill that hole, by donating food to Food for the Hungry Program (FFTH) - an outreach program managed by parishioners of our neighbor, Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry - which benefits the St. Joseph Food Pantry located at 141 Ashburton Avenue in Yonkers, NY.

If you would like to make a donation to Food For The Hungry/St. Joseph Food Pantry, you can use the list provided below as a guide. Please remember that all the items you donate should be non-perishable - in other words, please do not donate anything that must be refrigerated. Kindly place all items gently into the large container located in the vestibule of our church. If you would like to donate a heavy item, please move easily crushable items aside.
If you are in the habit of making purchases online, feel free to ship items to Immaculate Conception Church Rectory, and we will place it in the bin for you!
